Release and let go work is a cornerstone of true healing. It is an essential practice for breaking free from old, negative habits and clearing the emotional and energetic baggage we carry through life. While psychological support is crucial on this journey, releasing past trauma requires an energetic and spiritual approach to fully let go of its hold on the body and mind. Focusing solely on changing past pains through the mind can make it difficult for people to embody these changes energetically.
Many skilled psychologists incorporate various modalities into their work, addressing different layers of the person, such as the subconscious mind. However, few delve into the release of energy blocks within the body. This is where my practice comes in—I support the release of these blocked emotions. It requires a full willingness and readiness from my clients to be open and release, coupled with personal work between sessions, psychological support, and time.
Release work is highly individual and tailored to each person's needs. Yet, there are fundamental techniques that can be beneficial for all. Sound, for example, is a powerful tool for release. This can include resonant frequency music (such as Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Tuning Forks, Shamanic Drums), Solfeggio Frequency Music through headphones, or the use of one's own voice (chanting, humming, singing, screaming).
Intention is a critical component of release work. Sometimes, we may not know exactly what we need to release, but setting the intention to do so can bring the necessary aspects to the surface. This process may take time, as deeper-rooted energy blocks often require multiple layers of work. Combining Reiki, Sound Healing, Meditation, Breathwork, and Holistic Coaching (including spiritual coaching) can effectively support the release of these blocks.
There are many other modalities of release work that can be explored, such as plant medicine, nature baths, and ice baths. Holding space for my clients as they navigate these topics is vital. Everyone is on their own journey, and not everyone is ready to face everything hidden within. However, it is within the fear and difficulty that the most significant growth and expansion occur.
There is only one road ahead—the road of release and healing. Embrace it fully, and allow yourself to let go of what no longer serves your highest good.
